About Us
Our journey began with a simple vision: to be able to detangle curly hair easily, while also caring for the hair's overall health.
With brushes stuck and combs broken in curly thick hair, something had to be done. The well-known detangling brushes were no better: endless pulls and ridiculous amounts of broken and ripped out hair. Clearly, they were not made for our hair type.
Frustrated and fed up of dealing with tough tangles and painful breakage, we embarked on a mission to make detangling easy no matter your hair type.
What started as a problem encountered on a ‘natural hair journey’ back in 2019 has led to a one-of-a-kind brush loved by those with curly hair including a very cute 3 year old who refers to the Detangle Duette as "the pink brush that doesn't hurt"!
It is also loved by those with straight hair who prefer gentler alternatives that can be used on wet hair.
