I have a mix of coils. The crown is mostly curls the size of a regular sharpie, and the majority of the rest is curls the size of a pencil or knitting needle. It’s voluminous but thin on my scalp, and my fine strands are prone to fairy knots and breakage. After washing, I usually use Aussie’s 3-minute deep conditioner, because I hate long routines. I work out and SWEAT multiple times a week. I don’t have time to spend an hour doing… anything, actually, to my hair.
With the Aussie, by the time my 3-minute alarm goes off, I’m finished detangling with this brush and ready to rinse. This is even after a ~week-long wash (and shake) and go with gel and mouse—that is, hair that’s been washed and/or co-washed and fluffed, but not detangled for up to two weeks 🫣 afterward, I add product to my soaking hair and use the Ouidad double comb to define, shake, diffuse ~10 minutes, and I’m done. Coily girls, especially the eczema/dandruff prone and workout-happy, rejoice. If they added ribbed texture to the handle for grip, it would be even more perfect. But as it is…

I needed to get used to it in the beginning, but It works !🤭 it definitely detangles my hair pretty fast. The brush is super lightweight, which makes it comfortable to use. PS; ➡️ I Love the cleaning tool 🫶🏽.

When I use different hair Brushes, it hurts me and rips out my hair. This comb is so good. The bristles are really firm and gentle on my scalp. It doesn’t hurt when I use this at all

This is my third detangling brush and the difference is clear. It made my detangling on wash days easy and cut my detangling time in half. There was also less breakage because it is kind to the hair and doesn't rip it off like other brushes.

This brush is very good at detangling my hair with next to nothing hair shedding.
